Attended a wedding dinner last night at City Bayview with my friend. Well, practically I went there as his so called "partner" wtf! LOL..
We got there at 7.45pm, went to our table and sat down for 5 minutes. Looking at all the strangers in front of me made me a lil uncomfortable but wth, I am here to eat! After 5 minutes, we went out to get our first drink of the night. We had a glass of wine (wth became so high class) and cheers to that cos we usually have beers. Went back into the reception hall and makan. Had 3 dishes in total for the whole night (hush) cos we kept going out for more drinks instead. Well, there's a reason behind this but I shall keep it to myself (250 in total). There was a time when I went in hoping the next dish would be something I fancy! Yes it was definitely something I love and cannot live without but guess what? When I got in, there was only the bone and the head of the fish left! *ARGH* Anyways...
Weddings are getting too commercialized. I thought the one I attended last weekend was huge, but yesterday's wedding was just as huge as last week's. 35 tables in total, 350 people... Anyways, one of the requirements for City Bayview is to have a minimum of 30 tables and the package is very reasonable and very affordable. However, I didn't quite like or I dislike the table setting (was very plain) and the ballroom was small and was really cramp and water from the air-conditioner kept dropping on my almost bald head and I had to strain my ears to hear whatever they were trying to say over the microphone (it was so soft not that I have got hearing problems)! *wtf* But the environment was very lively with people chattering all-night-long-with-drinks-in-their-hands and even bottles.
We then went for the after party at MOIS (a club which I do not fancy at all due to the Sean Paul kind of R&B). So we adjourned to our usual place, Zenzi Bar. Ordered a tower of Sex on the beach and we used shot glasses for that. Non-stop drinking shots of sex on the beach till the beach went dry in 20 minutes + 2 jugs of beer!
Was a lovely night out and I did enjoy myself definitely. xoxo
P.S: Sorry, no pictures were taken.
